Limited Warranty

Oe!l La La LIMITED WARRANTY

This limited warranty encompasses the coverage of any defects in material or workmanship in new eyewear products purchased by customers in Canada on OeilLaLa.ca. Please carefully review this limited warranty, as it does not cover certain aspects.

This limited warranty is exclusively applicable to the original consumer purchaser (referred to as "you" or "your") and cannot be assigned or transferred to any other party. If you made your eyewear product purchase online from Oe!l La La, Inc. (referred to as "Oe!l La La," "us," "we," or "our"), you may be eligible for coverage under this limited warranty. If you obtained an eyewear product elsewhere, this limited warranty does not apply.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER?

This limited warranty excludes any problems resulting from (i) commercial use, (ii) normal wear and tear, or (iii) misuse, accidents (including but not limited to collisions, fires, and spills of food or liquids), negligence, abuse, alterations, unusual stress, modifications, improper or unauthorized repairs, or improper storage. This limited warranty becomes void if a product is returned with removed, damaged, or tampered labels or any alterations. Oe!l La La DOES NOT WARRANT AGAINST ANY SCRATCHED, FRACTURED, OR SHATTERED LENSES. Additionally, consequential, indirect, and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty.

HOW LONG DOES THE COVERAGE LAST?

The warranty period extends for one (1) year from the documented date of purchase.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

Oe!l La La will provide warranty coverage if your warranty claim adheres to all the terms of this limited warranty, and you adhere to the return procedure outlined below. Failure to follow the return procedure will result in the inability to obtain warranty coverage.

To obtain warranty service for eyewear products purchased on OeilLaLa.ca, please contact us at 1 888-634-5525 or email warranty@oeillala.ca to request a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) and a prepaid return shipping label.

If your claim is within the scope of this limited warranty, Oe!l La La will cover the cost of shipping the product back to you after the warranty service is completed.

Any product returned to Oe!l La La without a valid warranty claim, without an RMA, or without proof of purchase may be declined, returned to you at your expense, or retained for a period of 30 days. If, after 30 days, you have not paid for the return shipping cost, Oe!l La La may, at its sole discretion, dispose of your product, after notifying you by phone or email of its intent to do so and affording you a final opportunity to arrange for return shipping. By sending a product for warranty service or replacement, you consent to transferring ownership of the original product to Oe!l La La at the time it arrives at our warehouse if Oe!l La La determines that replacement is appropriate.

WHAT WILL Oe!l La La DO?

If Oe!l La La authorizes you to return your product and your claim is within the scope of this limited warranty, Oe!l La La will determine whether to repair or replace the defective product. In the case of a replacement, Oe!l La La will decide whether to provide a new or remanufactured product. If Oe!l La La, at its sole discretion, deems it unreasonable to replace the defective product, Oe!l La La may issue a refund for the purchase price you paid for the product. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remaining duration of the original product warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

WHAT ABOUT OTHER REPAIRS?

If your eyewear product does not qualify for warranty service under this limited warranty or you cannot provide proof of purchase, you may still request to have it repaired by Oe!l La La, subject to applicable charges. Please contact us at 1 888-634-5525 or email support@oeillala.ca to learn more.

GOVERNING LAW

The laws of the Province of Québec govern this limited warranty. It grants you specific legal rights, and you may also possess other rights that vary by province. This limited warranty does not affect any additional rights you have under laws in your jurisdiction governing the sale of consumer goods. Some provinces, including Québec, may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions in this limited warranty statement may not apply to you.
