This limited warranty encompasses the coverage of any defects in material or workmanship in new eyewear products purchased by customers in Canada on shop.harina.ca. Please carefully review this limited warranty, as it does not cover certain aspects.
This limited warranty is exclusively applicable to the original consumer purchaser (referred to as "you" or "your") and cannot be assigned or transferred to any other party. If you made your eyewear product purchase online from HARINA Optométristes, Inc. (referred to as "HARINA and/or HARINA Optométristes," "us," "we," or "our"), you may be eligible for coverage under this limited warranty. If you obtained an eyewear product elsewhere, this limited warranty does not apply.
This limited warranty excludes any problems resulting from (i) commercial use, (ii) normal wear and tear, or (iii) misuse, accidents (including but not limited to collisions, fires, and spills of food or liquids), negligence, abuse, alterations, unusual stress, modifications, improper or unauthorized repairs, or improper storage. This limited warranty becomes void if a product is returned with removed, damaged, or tampered labels or any alterations. HARINA DOES NOT WARRANT AGAINST ANY SCRATCHED, FRACTURED, OR SHATTERED LENSES. Additionally, consequential, indirect, and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty.
The warranty period extends for one (1) year from the documented date of purchase.
HARINA will provide warranty coverage if your warranty claim adheres to all the terms of this limited warranty, and you adhere to the return procedure outlined below. Failure to follow the return procedure will result in the inability to obtain warranty coverage.
To obtain warranty service for eyewear products purchased on harina.ca, please contact us at 1 877-427-4621 or email warranty@harina.ca to request a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) and a prepaid return shipping label.
If your claim is within the scope of this limited warranty, HARINA will cover the cost of shipping the product back to you after the warranty service is completed.
Any product returned to HARINA without a valid warranty claim, without an RMA, or without proof of purchase may be declined, returned to you at your expense, or retained for a period of 30 days. If, after 30 days, you have not paid for the return shipping cost, HARINA may, at its sole discretion, dispose of your product, after notifying you by phone or email of its intent to do so and affording you a final opportunity to arrange for return shipping. By sending a product for warranty service or replacement, you consent to transferring ownership of the original product to HARINA at the time it arrives at our warehouse if HARINA determines that replacement is appropriate.
If HARINA authorizes you to return your product and your claim is within the scope of this limited warranty, HARINA will determine whether to repair or replace the defective product. In the case of a replacement, HARINA will decide whether to provide a new or remanufactured product. If HARINA, at its sole discretion, deems it unreasonable to replace the defective product, HARINA may issue a refund for the purchase price you paid for the product. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remaining duration of the original product warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.
If your eyewear product does not qualify for warranty service under this limited warranty or you cannot provide proof of purchase, you may still request to have it repaired by HARINA, subject to applicable charges. Please contact us at 1 877-427-4621 or email support@harina.ca to learn more.
The laws of the Province of Québec govern this limited warranty. It grants you specific legal rights, and you may also possess other rights that vary by province. This limited warranty does not affect any additional rights you have under laws in your jurisdiction governing the sale of consumer goods. Some provinces, including Québec, may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions in this limited warranty statement may not apply to you.
